What is this song about?

Smoke on the Water is about the Montreux casino, which went up in flames in 1971.

What will you start working on first?

Making sure everybody knows what they are playing, and are confident in playing it. I feel like if everybody knows what they're playing, then we can spend the rest of the time rehearsing our performance in one of the music rooms.

What is going to be challenging about this task?

Reige and Adelaide haven't played in a group before, and so it might be difficult keeping the two in time with Greg & I.

The simple sentences-begin with the subject of the sentence

Very short sentences-is one of the most powerful sentence styles ever developed. Immediately, it grabs your attention.

(For example)

The Power sentence-If you find you waffle a bit, try power sentence. begin your paragraph with power sentence of 12 words or thewer.

Red, white, and b;ue
Use red , wite, and blue sentence style when you have several ideas to convey about topic

The adverb start 
start a sentence with an adverb it adds interest and intigue. Remeber the rule when you start your sentence with adverb place a comma after the adverd then write the rest of the sentence.

(For example) 
Adelaide Sprinted away from the big black dog.

Begin with a preposition 
Try strarting your sentence with a preposition. Prepositions are little words indicating movment or position

Last week, I ran to the dairy from wigarm with Adelaide.

The -ing start
Try starting a sentence with the -ing pharse, place a comma, then write the rest of the sentence.

Hoping to make a basket ball team next year.

The -Ed start
Try starting a sentence with the -ed form of the verb. it makes for a punchy opening to the sentende.

Commited to trying to make a basket ball team next year.

The semi-colon
When you have two independent clauses (two mini sentences)
Joined by a conhunction (e.g. and but), you can remove the conjuction and replace it with a semi-colon.

Hes a strong NFL player, his passion is NFL.

The Em-dash 
The em-dash in english is the long dash. Use the long dash to drop a phrase in a sentence that is at complete odds with flow of the sentence--way out there--but which adds colour and interets.

The ultra boost are super comfortable, a resanible price, nice looking shoes.

The W-start sentence 
Try beginning a sentence with a W-word. Here are some: Who, While, When, Where, What, Whereas. The W-start makes writing sound thoughtful and knowledgeable.

My first solo Perfomence

1. WHat is the instrument you have chosen? Why did you choose this?
I choose guitar cause I have been playing for a little bit for the pass couple years now

The song I have chosen is the one im doing with my guitar teacher, And I chosse this song cause its a kinda easy one to do and need to practice it anyway and don't know the name of the song

Im not sure what the song is about but it sounds like some background music in a zombie game like the last of us

Yes I am cause I have never done a solo before and in front of people

Eng Hunt for the wilder people

In English I am learning to right a 5 paragraph essay about the film of Hunt for the wilder people about the relation ship about Ricky Baker and Hector Faulkner and how there relationship changes through the film.  

Week 5 Eye Dissection

The Pupil the dark part of your eye and allows light to enter the eye.

The Iris is the coloured part of the eye and controls the amount of light that goes in the eye.

The lens is a bi-convex transparent flexible disc and focus light into the retina.

The Retina is a layer at the back of your eye which are sensitive to light and receives light and then converts into an electrical pulse.

The Optic Nerve A bundle of nerve cells that connects the eye to the brain and carries the electrical impulse from the eye to the brain.

Pie and Area Conclusion

1. What were the main mathematical concepts and ideas that you learned or discussed in class?

We learned how to find circumference, radius, diameter, perimeter and how to find area.

2. Describe a mistake or misconception that you and or your classmate. How did you learn this mistake?

I struggled with finding the radius but soon found out that radius is half of a diameter.

I have been working on a lot during theses past lessons the first thing we did was made our site with term 1 to 4 and moved to creating our site making it so people now about us and has like a little back story to our life, what we enjoy to do what type of things we like and so on a thew lesson's we've been doing that then we moved on to core skills 1 doing a info graphic about economics and how to use a different site to make our info graphic. and then play a game to keep like our passwords and emails safe from hackers and bad people there were 4 games one was kind kingdom, reality river, mindful mountain,

Reflection 

Some Challenges I overcome was learning how to use some sites to make a info graphic and make my own site and how to do things faster. 

my learning object is to be able to type faster and learnt how to look after my password and information  that game is called inter land.

I participated well I contributed to help making and writing some of the things to do with well being 

It was challenging when I had to try and write down some stuff cause i'm not the best speller or the neatest I cooped with the challenge by talking to my friends and communicating with and what we need to do.

I worked well with others we where talking to each other letting each other know about what we where doing.

Next time i will try and work harder towards my work by myself and others .  

Mathematics

In the past week's we have been watching videos to help inspire us to try harder and make mistakes. Mistakes are the thing that makes our brain grow and learn from our mistakes and people with a fixed mine set won't grow and people with a growth mine set their brain will grow faster Math's ain't really my thing but I like to learn more and become better at math's. and I don't have any questions.

Maori In The Great War

I made it up to page 11 the book is pretty big with a total of 161 pages and some stuff at the back so you can see what rank people were in the war their name occupation 

the book was originally produced in the decade the First World War as one of the numerous histories covering the campaigns of the war and the part played by the various regiments and other units. 

author James Cowan did not serve with the Maori Pioneer Battlion his credentials for recording this history were impeccable he was a fluent speaker in te reo and had already published many works covering New Zealand colonial history and Maori ethnography. 
And cant wait to read more.

   

sharks and other deadly ocean creatures

about today's book                                                                                                                                       Today I read about sharks and other deadly ocean creatures one shark that sparked my interests is the spiral toothed chimeroid  and the megalodon the meglodon is the most biggest shark that I've seen. it probably has the most powerful bit in the world it can crush a car in one bit. the spiral toothed shark is a pretty weird looking shark that I've seen I never knew it exist till now. the predator level is only a two, size is probably upto 13.1ft (4 m) long his diet is soft bodied prey such as squid                                                                                                                                                                                                                 The megalodon has a predator level of 5 and is 65.6ft (20 m) long thats huge and theirs a movie on the megalodon it's a pretty good movie it lives in oceans and seas worldwide but they have gone bye bye from the world but there have been a videos on the megalodon apparently seeing the megalodon I wish i could see one but theirs none.
