In my research I found out about the shape represents growth and new beginnings I plan to include this as my final project and try to do this one and have it done by the time we finished.    

The koru has a long story. Its slender curling shape is a depiction of the unfurling frond and represents growth, and new beginnings. They reference the fronds birth into nature and its steady growth over time.

Stone art

What i managed to do today is flatten the bass of my stone and rounded the top bit of my stone next step to do is carve the designs into the top bit of the stone the tools I used was a cheese grater and chisel rafts and brushes.
