My Time At Sockburn School

                                                          Being at SockBurn school

My first year being at Sockburn School I was 7 years old and started with Mr Crookbain. He was really fun. I didn't get that much stuff done and got told off a lot because I had no clue what to write about!

We use to have competitions to see who could fill up their good chart. I was the first one to fill it up so I got stickers and a Lightning McQueen coloring in book. He was really fun but then he had to leave to Canada to get married and he never came back.

Mr Kerr was the sporty teacher, he was really fun. He read the newspaper to us and he would even ask us some questions about what’s being going on in the world. We would play lots of games like chairs, baton hockey, horse and jockey, sock fighting and a lot more.

Year 6 in Kahikatea with the Boss, Miss McCormick and Mr Barrow.

Mr Barrow’s dad jokes weren't funny (sorry Mr Barrow no hard feelings). Mr Barrow was the best at being loud and you don’t want Mr Barrow angry! He would tell us to sit up straight when we actually were and to be quiet when we are.

Now onto Mrs Boswell she was my 2nd favorite teacher after Mr Kerr. Sometimes she’ll get mad, most of the time

she’s funny. When I was year 5 she had lots of jobs for me so it was fun with Boswell! At the start of every month I would pinch and a punch her and then I ran and she would chase me which is really fun.

Miss McCormick started halfway through

Term 2. Miss M is a fun teacher even in Maths! She likes to play games, she tries to make jokes  and all the dabbing times to add into the day.

Now it's time for me to leave I will never forget the dad jokes, dabbing times the pinch and the punches and the sausages from combo day on friday. I am off to a new adventure to Hornby. I’m going to miss you Sockburn School!

Barbara and Bruce were fiercely competitive.And wendy is the peace-maker,Russell Cotts is the beast knowing American skipper for team Nz.All three siblings loved the sea and their  boating holidays.

When Barbara came in third it meet that Bruce loved his sister getting third he wanted to congratulate her thirst.

She represented her school in swimming and athletics but her reel love was dancing both Barbara and wendy were enrolled in the Julie Cotter Dance school where Barbara excelled,gaining skills in performance,balance,and composure.

Bam! Boom! Smack! Smash! Bang! What was that?

I walk around the corner and saw something white flash out the corner of my eye. I said to myself “What was that?”  

“I’ve got to be careful now I hope I don’t run into anything”.

As soon as I run down the hall I see  giant chickens running towards me. I say “What’s happening?”  I ran the other way but I'm trapped by a whole herd of dinosaurs. They come running at me so I take cover in the trophy shelf. I was safe, for now. I get out and all a sudden the door falls off and smashes. One of the dinosaurs was there. I was so scared I couldn't look at the manual because I was in shock. Finally I can read the manual for the bone I say “what bone?” then a bone falls from out of nowhere and scared me to death. Then hunters come out of nowhere and try to cut me up so I ran for my dear life!

After this I realize that I had left the manual behind I didn't know what to do. So I run for my life I got so scared I try to get to the phone but when I get there the phone is smashed . I bring out my cell phone but this one is smashed too. After a few hours finally it’s morning time. I can leave now. I went running out the door saying” i’m never coming back!”  I say to my boss “I quit I can’t do this anymore”.

1)The gecko's tail can fall off and the enemy will think that it is the whole body so it will attack.

2) When it has lots of food it will store it in the tail for the fat.

3) It can have 2-3 tails at the same time.

I think that the gecko’s have 2 tails because if the enemy was chasing the gecko one can fall off so it can have one more.
